New Personas and burn-on-read aliases

The inbox even we
can’t open.

Encrypted email with a security model you can read in full. Your key is generated in your browser and never leaves it, so your mail stays with you.

Free to start. No ads, and nothing to sell.

More than one inbox

One account, as many identities as you need.

Alongside your main address, you can make as many as you want and group them however you like.

Disposable aliases that vanish

Make an address in a second. Set it to disappear after a minute, an hour, or a day, or the moment it is opened. When it goes, its mail goes with it.

Personas keep things separate

Group addresses under a name like “weird me” and keep each part of your life in its own place. Permanent ones for the long run, disposable ones for anything you don’t trust yet.

Plain terms

What we can and can’t see.

You should know the exact shape of what you’re handing us. Here it is, both sides.

Sealed to your key
  • Your message bodies
  • Your subject lines
  • In keyfile mode, the key itself. We hold nothing to hand over.

Encrypted to a key only you hold. Your stored mail is noise to us.

Visible to us
  • Who you email and who emails you, and when
  • Your address and account details
  • Incoming mail the instant it arrives, before we seal it to your key

Delivery needs these, so we handle them. We never write them to a log.

Keyfile mode is the strictest setting. You keep the only copy of your key and we store none of it, so there is nothing to hand over and nothing even we can recover.

Start with a free inbox.

It’s free, there’s no invite code, and every inbox is end-to-end by default. We make no money from Elusive today, and we sell nothing. If we ever add a paid plan it will be for extra capacity, and it will never take away anything your account already has.
